Why are Phonetics Important?

INTRODUCTION TO THE ENGLISH SOUNDS

Let's be honest, English pronunciation is tricky for Catalan speakers but if you learn phonetics you will get to know how to pronounce the words properly.

Phonetics is a system of symbols that represent all the sounds in English, it's like the alphabet but with a difference. Watch the video to learn more.

    The difficult phonetics for english people is: ll:llorar, rr:arrancar ,c: acercar

  2. The most difficult sounds for me are 'sh', 'ee', 'gh' in words such as shower, feel, cough.
    The most difficult sounds fos english people are: 'll' 'rr' 'c', 'g' ,' x' in words such as llorar, arrancar, ascensor, cargar, exigir.

  3. The most dificult sounds for me are, for example ear /ier/, the combination of i and the shwa. the conbination of gh in words such as bough and laugh.
    Conbineishon the vowel.
